Bring it Back Again

HiRyuu watched as the human male cautiously circled the blob with his pilfered shield. He paid more attention to the blob than the human, though, trying to puzzle out just what it was. Sentient balls of ooze weren't exactly common, and the question was, was it acting on its own, or being controlled by an unseen person?

It reminded him somewhat of that old film from the mid-1900s.

He watched in fascination as out of thin-air came strange bullets aimed at the blob, which leapt away before they could make contact. HiRyuu nearly groaned when Scarlett removed her cloak and became visible. Not being able to detect her presence was a pain.

He grinned and flipped up his middle finger, showing her that it had, in fact, healed perfectly.

The hair on the back of his neck started to prickle and he glanced over his shoulder to see another, smaller blob wiggling its way toward him. He turned and crouched down, extending his hand toward the thing. As long as he kept it away from any orifices, he figured he'd be fine. He wiggled his fingers and made a "tch, tch, tch" sound, as if beckoning a cat. "Who's a good little blob? Come here, that's right..."

Gritting his teeth in irritation Terrence lightly stepped back away from the blob as it tried to get around the shield making him very glad he had borrowed it, but more importantly his growing frustration at the fact his normal style of tactics were rendered entirely ineffective by this thing.

 However that train of thought was derailed as he nearly jumped in surprise at the sound of heavy rifle fire coming from just outside of the room, the fact he couldn't sense the source of the shot immediately greatly cut down potential sources of the bullets as it couldn't have been wielded by a normal person, he'd have sensed that, at the same time that strange robot girl 'Scarlett' as she called herself didn't seem to have such weaponry on her the brief time they spoke. But he couldn't rule that out, with her apparent level of tech represented by her existence bringing something like that in isn't out of the question.

 Still he didn't have the luxury to look out that way, what he did spot however is a mostly empty trash container nearby, one that could hold his current target, so while keeping the shield between it and him at all times he worked his way towards it and with a free hand flipped it over to empty the contents and pull out the black bag. 'maybe i can contain you in a bag..havn't shown any ability to morph into sharp shapes yet' he  thought as he bit his bottom lip as he plucked the now empty bag out of the bin and abandoned the shield as he hopped away.

 Keeping mental tabs on the exact location of the can he reinforced his senses and reflexes as he observed the blob now waiting for it to leap at him again so he could try and capture it in the bag and tie the bag up so it couldn't get out and dunk it in the trash can so he could cover it. "Alright  probably only gettin one shot at this.." he murmured to himself.

Scarlett’s brow knitted and her lips compressed. What was the creature. She may have to use a higher velocity round to hit this thing. That would penetrate the the next area. She banished her rifle in favor of her sword.

“Hello it’s good to see. You remember this?”

She glanced toward Terrence and his energy spiked in a massive way. She had seen his strength but this was different. She waited to see what Terrence was doing because if she moved at the wrong time she may interrupt what he did to further escalate the situation.

She took a defensive stance and divided her attention between Terrence and Dragon Man. He was a nuisance but mostly harmless. He hadn’t even torn her in two. That would have been inconvenient but pointless. She would just reappear several seconds later fully combat ready. What the fuck was Dragon Man doing?!?

“Yes make yourself a causality Dragon Man. You know it likes magic things. You’re a powerful user of magic. It wants to eat you. Not be your friend dumbass.”

She was torn. Dragon Man was about to be a snack for the little one dropping down on him and the closer one. She teleport and slashed at the blob dropping in. If need be she would kick Dragon Man through the wall if he attempted that bullshit again.

The man leans against the glass wall beside Ryuusei, looking in at the tiny humans crying and waving their tiny fists in the air. "A shame non?" He replies a bit coldly. "It seems likely that they will not survive."

The little blob obliges HiRyuu, wiggling toward him intently. The woman slashed it in twain, and the two pieces of it wiggled around, seemingly undismayed at being torn in two. One half hopped up to her, and the other ignored her intently to wiggle its way to the 'dragon man' whom it had orignally been headed toward.

This time Terrance's efforts yeild better results, or so it seems. Into the garbage bag the ooze goes and into the trash can beyond that. He quickly traps it inside by slamming the lid down. One captured slimy ooze creature!

"Yeah, well not if I can help it." He had his guard up and scanned the room, deciding to make his stand there and protect the defenseless infants...


...maybe they weren't entirely defenseless, maybe the wailing could drive the blob away..or the ooze in their diapers could be poisonous?

Nah, that'd be TOO easy...

HiRyuu's eyes flicked briefly to the not-food female as she interjects herself between him and the blob and slices it in two. "I assure you, I'm far from being a casualty of this...thing," he said, waving his hand at the blob. 

He turned his attention back to the half that was continuing its wobbling, wiggling movement towards him, cocking his head and curiously watching it. He'd been around for a long, long time and had never seen anything quite like this. 

The human had managed to contain the largest of the blobs, but that was only a temporary solution to the problem of how to stop the things from consuming...whatever it is they are after. He stood, his katana materializing in his hand. He knew cutting the thing wouldn't work, but perhaps it could be pinned down? He pressed the point of the blade lightly against the blob-creature.

(Just imagine a pokemon game's celebratory sound bit when you capture a new mon lol. That is totally what is coming to mind with Terrence catching the blob. 'Lethal blob caught!')

 With his apparent round of success in containing the killer blob, Terrence didn't waste any time leaving the robot girl and ..who or whatever that guy was to..keep the other ones occupied. "Going to see if I can't tape this thing closed then look for another can, this might be a improvised way of containment." he called back to the girl who introduced herself as Scarlett and the unknown man whom had just pulled out a sword. "just..don't cut em more eh? Physical trauma doesn't seem to have much effect."

 With his words he returned to the operating room where he had first danced with the blob while keeping the lid firmly down on the trash bin, his eyes sweeping the room quickly he found what he wanted, medical tape and gauze. "It'll have to do..don't have proper tape.." he muttered to himself as he started to crudely and swiftly mummify the trashbin in said gauze and tape in the hopes that it'll seal the container shut for the time being.

Scarlett had to think which was quite fast, faster than Planck time is roughly ten to the negative forty-third power seconds. She had seen what the one designated Terrence had done for his attempt. Whether he had been successful or not she had dashed off trying to take action without a plan. So when undesignated creature lunged at her, she would allow contact and then Conduit into space between Mercury and Venus. Wait five seconds to let blob freeze.

She wondered would that be long enough to immobilize it before automatic Conduit to ten-thousand kilometers off the star for this solar system or should she keep a safe distance to only receive a slight charred look that would heal over several days, if not completely restored by the Conduit back to this universes’ Earth. It wasn’t dissimilar from other Earth’s she had visited. This one was more polluted. It also had active threats to its well-being as well as heroes to fight them and generally stop the evil.

Anyways she prepped herself for the blob and actually thought about why she had involved herself as well. They had heroes. She changed distance off the sun to a safe distance for her skin. The Corona of the sun should suffice to incinerate the blob with its 1,800,000°F temperature.

“Yes come on. Let’s take a walk to Venus and then the Sun of this solar system.”

The moment she registered full contact she would take this thing for a ride to get a tan.
