Kagami's Characters

Post by Kagami on Mon Jan 19, 2015 7:28 am

- Character's General Statistics -

NAME: Tsukino Kagami, Sailor Void

ALTERNATE NAME, NICKNAME OR HUMAN NAME: Hollow Usagi, Igasu, Black Hole Senshi

NAME MEANING: Mirror of the Moon

Crossover; Sailor Moon & Bleach Made Up

GENDER: Female

AGE: Appears 16

OCCUPATION: Rogue spirit, troublemaker

- Character's Physical Appearance in Human/Normal form -

HAIR COLOUR: Light blonde

HAIR LENGTH: Long, held up in Odangos

NATIONALITY: Appears Japanese

HEIGHT: 4'11"

black crescent moon on her forehead, but other than that appears as a
golden-eyed version of Usagi.  She also keeps the large hole in her torso
covered so as to further hide her nature.

COSTUME: Prefers punk-style or rave clothing to anything, with wide belts and
denim cutoff shorts, fishnet gloves and knee-high leather boots.  She wears a
ripped t-shirt over a tube-top, and a studded leather vest along with dark
shades.  She also has a bone-white 'hairpiece', which is part of her Hollow

WEAPONS/ITEMS/TALISMANS: Kagami wears a studded leather fingerless glove
overtop of her fishnet glove on her right hand.  She also has a black and
silver version of Usagi's brooch, which she uses to transform into her 'Senshi'

Tenebrosidad, the Zanpaktou - A weapon whose usual function is akin to the
Keyblade that Kendy wields, in that it is intended to send a spirit on to the
next life, cleansing them of sins committed after death and returning the lost
pieces of their soul to them.  Kagami's blade however, is in actuality the
sealed form of her Hollow powers, allowing her to pass as a humanoid despite
her clearly inhuman nature, as well as a focus for something else.  When it is
released via the phrase "Bakyaku, Tenebrosidad!" (Reveal your True Colors,
Eclipse!), Kagami's true form is revealed.  The blade resembles a single-edged
black longsword with a double-crescent crosspiece.  Its aura signature is
readily apparent to those who have experience with the Heroes, as it feels like
a combination of the auras of the Gates of Death and the Keyblade.

- Character's Physical Appearance in Hero/Senshi form -

EYE COLOUR:  Black sclera with golden irises and black pupils

HAIR COLOUR: Stark white

HAIR LENGTH: Long, made up into Odango buns

SKIN COLOUR: Chalk white

NATIONALITY: Appears Japanese

HEIGHT: 4'11"

Sailor Void's body is stark white, the inside of her mouth and her lips are a
combination of sky-blue and slate-grey.  Also, her voice could best be
described as "A recording of a normal person played backwards, then having the
syllables put back into normal order, creating a warbling echo".

COSTUME:  Similar to Sailor Moon's in style.  A black bodysuit, boots, and
gloves.  A white sailor collar, white trim around the wrists and bottoms of her
boots.  A silver tiara with a black onyx gemstone in the middle.  Raven-black
wings from a white back bow.  The shoulders and skirt, along with the front and
back bows, are all torn and ragged.

WEAPONS/ITEMS: Void Staff - This long, rune-entwined staff of dark metal is the
focus for Void's senshi attacks.  It more resembles a spear than anything else,
but the edged portions are largely decorative, not meant to be used in direct
conflict.  She much prefers using Tenebrosidad, hidden within the haft of the
staff, to fight with when she can't use her 'borrowed' powers.

JEWELLERY:  Two black-crescent earrings, and a silver choker around her neck.
A facsimile of the Ginzuishou is in the middle of her front bow.

- Character's Physical & Magical Powers -

Scissor Moon Kick - A helicopter style kick that she performs while upside
down, using her hands to steady herself on the ground. (usable as Sailor Void)

Iron Flesh - Most higher level Hollows have hides so infused with spiritual
energy that striking it feels like hitting metal, though it is still as
flexible as normal skin. (Usable as Sailor Void)

Moon Sovereign Kiss - As Sailor Moon's Moon Therapy Kiss attack, but laced with
dark energies. (Usable as Sailor Void)

Moon Halation - A wave of dark, yet calming energy that can be used to harm or
heal depending on the target. (Usable as Sailor Void)

Cero (Spanish translation: Zero) - A blast of pure energy, this is more akin to
a spiritual grenade going off, in that it collects into a ball before flying
outwards in a fan-shape.  However, it is somewhat malleable, and thus can be
deflected or 'bent' around things. (Usable as Kagami)

Luna Colmillo (Spanish translation: Moon Fang) - An attack that concentrates
the will of the wielder, using their intent to harm as a physical weapon
against their foes.  Usually an arc of black and silver fire that stretches out
from Tenebrosidad like a whip. (Usable as Kagami/Sailor Void)

Grande Cero (Spanish translation: Grand Zero) - A much more powerful Cero
blast, requiring Sailor Void's blood and up to a quarter of her overall spirit
energy, capable of distorting space around the epicenter of its blast. (Usable
as Kagami/Hollow)

Bara (Spanish translation: Bullet) - Similar to the Cero blast, but much
smaller, faster, and less energy consuming.  It fires a concentrated blast of
spirit particles towards the target, knocking them back through kinetic force
in addition to burning/shocking them. (Usable as Kagami/Hollow)

Luna Terminar Bombardeo (Spanish translation: Moon Death Bombardment) - This is
Sailor Void's last-ditch attack, which consumes 90% of her spirit energy to
use.  It resembles a giant black and red asteroid that crashes down on an
opponent (and frequently herself).  It doesn't explode like one might think,
but instead tries to flatten the enemy and submerge them in the volatile
energies. (Usable as Kagami/Hollow/Sailor Void)

Sonido (Spanish translation: Sound) - A method of high speed movement that
barely makes a sound. (Usable as Sailor Void and Kagami)

Kagami's Iron Flesh doesn't protect her from internal damage, such as bruising
or concussive attacks, nor from most elemental attacks, thus making it only act
similar to the normal armour-like qualities of a senshi's powers.  Also, the
less spirit power she has, the more vulnerable she becomes.  Kagami's
lightweight body also makes her relatively easy to knock around by someone
bigger than her, and as a result she hates grapplers.  In addition, if anything
strikes her while she's using Sonido, it will have far more devastating
consequences, as the faster you go, the more it hurts to get hit or collide
with something.

Since Kagami's power is entire spiritual based, divine or demonic magic has the
largest effect on her, but weapons like the Keyblade will also affect her.
Also, she relies on this spirit energy to hold out in battle, and as such has
to conserve her attacks and make them count.  She cannot afford to waste any

- Character's Personality -

ATTITUDE TOWARDS OTHERS:  Flippant and sarcastic, Kagami is a caustic woman who
has no concept of the terms "Playing Nice".  Whenever she becomes angry or
flustered, she starts swearing in what sounds like Spanish, though most of the
time she'll speak in Japanese.  And due to her nature and the memories she
holds, she more than often will play the lone wolf of the group, acting out of
concert with others and generally keeping most of her true powers to herself.
She will brush off anyone she feels like and doesn't care about people's
feelings as a whole.

At least... that's what it looks like at first.  In truth, despite the fact
that Kagami and Usagi are complete opposites in terms of personality and world
view, Kagami DID come from Usagi, and thus does hold some parts of her deep
down.  She does care about those who were close to Usagi and Sailor Moon,
especially Usagi's human family.  However, this is a double edged sword for
her, as she knows that they would sooner cast her out than ever accept what she
is, so she focuses on what she deems her 'mission'... to destroy everything she
deems a threat to her or her pseudo-friends' existence, and to become the
strongest of the Senshi.  To do that, she has chosen to eliminate the two most
prominent threats.... the Ancient Evil, and the Organization XIII.

FAVOURITE FOOD: Anything spicy or sour

FAVOURITE ELEMENT: Shadows and metallics

LIKES: Fighting, exploration, riddles

DISLIKES: Naivety, willing blindness, to be seen as merely a part of Tsukino

DREAMS/WISH: To become the strongest

BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND/SECRET CRUSH: None yet, though still has strong emotions
about Endymion

HOBBIES: Reading, traveling

- Character's Family -

HOME PLANET/COUNTRY/WORLD: Earth, Hueco Mundo, Usagi's Soul

- Character's History -

PAST HISTORY:  Tsukino Kagami is, to be blunt, an impossibility.
When the Lunarian princess Serenity died and her mother the Queen made a wish
that the child be reborn, it resulted in a situation that would have shocked
her. Dead and yet unable to pass on due to the Ginzuishou, Serenity's soul
wandered through the limbo between worlds known as Hueco Mundo, or 'The Recessed
World'.  For a thousand years Serenity's soul was kept adrift, forced to fight
for her continued existence in the inhospitable world of forgotten and forsaken
souls.  Within such a world, it is not surprising that even a pure soul like
the Princess' would feel despair, and in that world despair inevitably leads to
madness...  And madness leads to a new kind of death.  Hallucinating of times
long gone, it didn't take long for the denizens of Hueco Mundo to gather, and
together they fed on the poor girl's soul and turning her into one of their
own.  For more than 300 years thereafter, Serenity ceased to exist as the
princess that she once was, and she was transformed... into the form of a
Hollow, an impure spirit devoured by loneliness and fear, forced to feed on the
souls of the recently departed to quell the endless hunger of the void within
her heart.

However, just as the former Moon Queen's wish had trapped her within that
place, so too did it give her a way out.  A thousand years after her
imprisonment, the remnants of her soul were torn from Hueco Mundo, and merged
with the soul of the human named Tsukino Usagi, and the Ginzuishou merged along
with them to form the core of their being.  This process finally seemed to ease
the former Serenity's pain, and she willingly gave herself over to the
transformation, becoming whole again as the two souls came apart and reformed
into one, discarding the shattered and impure fractions of herself and Usagi in
order to create one whole, pure-hearted soul.  For years, this brilliant gem in
the dark, this light of hope, shone brightly for all to see, and the spirit of
the Moon Queen was relieved.

Until something cracked...

Spells that affect the soul are a tricky thing, and not to be used idly.  When
you try to fuse souls together, there are inevitably rifts, and leftover pieces.
Within Usagi's soul, these cast-away shards, so long laid still
in the past, began to stir, coalescing and fusing into one whole.  Hope was not
at the center of this new being's heart, no... It was something more base, and
yet something very human as well.  It was a hunger, a drive, and in truth fear
as well.  The same fear that had swallowed Serenity's soul had never gone away,
only gone to sleep, and now with Usagi's and Serenity's friends and loved ones
in constant danger, the fear of losing them too grew so strong that it became
a will of its own, a sentience with form, and a burning desire to DO SOMETHING!

And the Ginzuishou answered...

Now Kagami has broken away from her erstwhile other self, and though she
would dearly love to continue her own friendship with the senshi and the others
she knew before, her new nature means that the inevitable would make that a
dangerous prospect.  As a result, she now wanders the worlds looking for her
own life, and her own destiny...

GOALS/MISSION: Self-appointed

ALTERNATE NAME, NICKNAME OR HUMAN NAME (Optional): Fake Janitor, Second Magus Killer, King of the End, Faker, Incarnation of the Sword, King of Steel.

NAME MEANING (Optional): N/A

AGE: 25

OCCUPATION:  Repairman, Magus in training, mercenary, self-styled Ally of Justice, wannabe super hero

ALLIES : Tohsaka Rin, Matou Sakura, Saber (Arturia Pendragon), Rider (Medusa).

ENEMIES : Himself

- Character's Physical Appearance in Human/Normal form -

EYE COLOUR: Golden brown

HAIR COLOUR: Red/auburn

HAIR LENGTH: Short and spiky

WEIGHT: 64 kg

HEIGHT: 174 cm

BIRTHMARKS, TATTOOS, WINGS OR OTHER PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES: Has a starburst shaped scar over his heart, and a matching one on the back, as well as a burn mark on his shoulder.  Several other small scars litter his body.

COSTUME:  Normally Shirou wears regular modern day clothing, occasionally mixed in with some more exotic items.  His favorite shirt is a white sweater with blue sleeves and shoulders, though he also wears a red hoodie or jacket over top of it from time to time.  Black pants and boots are also part of his ensemble.

WEAPONS/ITEMS:  See magical attacks section.

Avalon - The legendary sheathe of Excalibur, the sword of King Arthur, granting Shirou a passive healing ability, and can sustain him even through some fatal blows, though only temporarily.

JEWELLERY (Optional):

- Character's Physical & Magical Powers -

LIST PHYSICAL ATTACKS AND EFFECTS:  Shirou is fairly good at Kyuudo (Japanese archery), having been a champion of it in school for years.  He is also well versed in kendo, and uses a two-sword style of his own creation.  This suicidal style works by purposely leaving openings for an opponent to take advantage of, only to be blocked and redirected before Shirou counterattacks.  This is effective enough that even those far stronger, faster, and more skilled than he can be fought at even odds.  Shirou himself is also well-built and strong for his age.

Shirou is, at first glance, almost completely inept as a magus, only able to use 'Reinforcement' and 'Projection' magecraft, with the only decent spell he can use being Structural Analysis.  This is a bit of a misnomer however, given his extreme specialization.  Due to his Origin and Element matching, Shirou has an innate connection to swords of all kinds.  With a glance he is able to analyze the materials, composition, age, abilities, name, and history of any weapon he is capable of understanding, and store this information in his reality marble.  Shirou can then use his unique magecraft, 'Tracing', to duplicate these attributes and thus create a copy of the weapon in his hand.  He is only effectively able to reproduce swords, other weapons, and armor, but this specialty allows him to faithfully reproduce even legendary weapons. He is capable of reproducing any sword that he has seen, though Noble Phantasms are always one rank below their original strength and armor costs three times the amount of prana, and he is capable of employing its entire history, allowing him to wield any weapon with the same proficiency of its original owner.  If the weapon is not made of materials that exist in the world, such as Ea, he cannot analyze or reproduce it, though he can tell its basic nature. He is also quite capable of creating his own original kinds of weapons, should he put his mind to it.

It has been shown that these abilities and Shirou's affinity with swords are concepts of Shirou's Reality Marble, Unlimited Blade Works. Rather than simply creating his projections in the real world, he actually reproduces them within the Reality Marble, as if he were loading a gun, and then projects them into the real world as if he were firing it. This allows him to prepare dozens of swords at a time for later use. Shirou is unable to properly deploy or maintain Unlimited Blade Works due to a shortage of prana, but with a proper contract with a magus with a suitable level of prana, such as Rin, he is capable of using it.  While actually using Unlimited Blade Works, the cost for creating the weapons is greatly diminished and the speed at which they can be created is also increased.  Unlimited Blade Works also seems to protect Shirou by creating blades within his body to reinforce it, acting as a sort of overlapping scale mail just beneath his skin.

All of these abilities cost prana, also sometimes known as mana or od.  Shirou's capacity for this is relatively small, and so cannot reach truly large heights of magecraft without assistance.  However, the fact that he can use the abilities of any weapon he traces, means that he has a rather large repertoire of options available to him...

LIST PHYSICAL WEAKNESSES:  Despite his healing abilites and UBW's defences, Shirou is still a human being, and thus cannot take too much of a beating without ill effect.

LIST MAGICAL WEAKNESSES:  Surprisingly few, although that is a relative saying.  Shirou has no true vulnerability to any specific magic or element, but at the same time has almost no defences against the majority of spells or abilities.  The only thing that could possibly qualify is that with his distorted personality he cannot be truly manipulated through his mind.  Like most magi though, he can cycle prana through his magical circuits in order to force out foreign magic, allowing him to shrug off some spells that would alter or affect his body.

- Character's Personality -

Due to the trauma he suffered during the great fire, Shirou has a constant emptiness in his personality and suffers from tremendous survivor's guilt. He feels that, as the only survivor, it is unfair to the deceased to prioritize his own needs before those of others. He has a distorted sense of values where he only finds self-worth from helping people without any compensation, feeling that the very act “helping people” is its own reward. When it comes down to receiving an injury or even giving up his life to help someone, he will do it without a second thought. The people who see this side of him are often very worried and attempt to correct his behavior, though they are unable to change his opinions. Kiritsugu often talked about how he used strive to protect the innocent from the world's many perils, even at the cost of his own humanity, and how he was saddened by the reality that whenever he was able to spare one life, another person was fated to die. Although Kiritsugu was tormented by his inability to save everyone, Shirou always admired his efforts. Right before Kiritsugu's death, Shirou pledged to be an "Ally of Justice" in Kiritsugu's place and strive to protect everyone at the cost of his own life. Everything that he is thus far is the result of that very pledge.

Shirou is extremely stubborn once he sets out to accomplish something, such as spending hours attempting to perform a high jump that is nearly impossible for him.  He will stubbornly defend his own viewpoints, no matter how wrong they may seem to others, even to the point of causing them great mental anguish. Though he does his best to help others, if he feels that a person brought about their own ruin, he will simply watch instead of helping.

FAVOURITE FOOD: Has a taste for all foods.

LIKES: Housework, cooking, helping people

DISLIKES: Bullies, victimizers, and monsters

DREAMS/WISH: To be a super hero!

BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND/SECRET CRUSH: Saber? / Tohsaka Rin? / Matou Sakura?

HOBBIES: Fixing things up, working on his experiments, cooking, finding new recipes to try out.

- Character's Family -

FATHER'S NAME: Birth father unknown, Emiya Kiritsugu (adopted, deceased)

SISTER'S NAME: Ilyasviel von Einzbern (step-sibling, deceased)

- Character's History -

Ten years before the start of the Fifth Holy Grail War, Shirou was an ordinary boy living with his parents in Shinto. The great fire caused by the wish of Kotomine at the end of the Fourth Holy Grail War killed both his parents and left him mortally wounded within the blaze, and left 500 others dead. He was rescued by Kiritsugu Emiya, who was dejected after the events of the war and, wishing to atone for his actions, saved Shirou's life by embedding Avalon in his body. He then later asked the recovering Shirou if he would like to become his adopted son, fully disclosing his identity as a magus. Shirou agreed and spent the next two years persistently asking Kiritsugu to teach him Magecraft. Kiritsugu eventually complied, and though he disapproved of Shirou's desire to learn his craft, he advised applying it in secret, where it could only benefit people and not attract confusion or suspicion. The knowledge he imparted to Shirou was very basic and incomplete, leading him down a dangerous path with little results. Furthermore, and perhaps inadvertently, Kiritsugu passed on his philosophy of wishing to be an Ally of Justice capable of saving anyone to Shirou.

Five years prior to the fifth Holy Grail War, Kiritsugu suddenly died, leaving Shirou frustrated, depressed, and alone. He was subsequently watched over by Taiga Fujimura, Shirou's longtime neighbour and his English teacher, and his living expenses were managed by her grandfather, Raiga Fujimura. He later went to a middle school where he encountered Matou Shinji around October of his second year when he had to remake the signboard of the culture festival according to the design of third year students in a single evening. Shinji, who oversaw that throughout the evening, said “Hmm… you’re an idiot but actually does a pretty good job.” and started to laugh.

After starting in Homurahara School, he met Issei Ryuudou and became known as someone who would readily do anything to help others, such as fixing the school equipment. He later joined the Archery Club, which led to an estranged relationship with Shinji. He missed the target only once during the period that he was enrolled, but even then he said that he saw that “it will miss” before even shooting it. He withdrew during the summer of his first year due to a bone fracture in his right shoulder he received during his part-time job, which left a burn mark over the skin. The wound itself was nothing major, but Shinji pointed out that it was unsightly for someone with a burn mark to do a formal shooting, so he left the club as it was also a period when he was busy with his part-time job. Their relationship eventually stabilized, but some tension still remained, especially in regard to Shinji's abuse of Sakura Matou. Shirou also got closer to Sakura as she started to visit his household frequently during the period while he was injured in order to help him cook and clean up the house. Even after he was healed, she continued to come as a member of his surrogate family.

The events of the Fifth Holy Grail War have left him changed, and yet at the same time unchanged.  He is still determined to hold onto his ideals, but does not ignore the seeming hipocrisy of them.

GOALS/MISSION: To become a hero capable of saving everyone around him.
