Sailor Moon Crystal

Since this is a gathering of Sailor Moon fans--more or less--I can't help but wonder how many of you are watching the reboot? I just watched this weekend's episode 'Act 14: Conclusion and Commencement' and it was AWESOME. I balled like a child...and I cheered...and I laughed! Gods, it's amazing to watch Sailor Moon as it was meant to be--based on the original Manga. Don't get me wrong, the original anime has its merits, but the Manga was so much more...and Crystal has done such a marvelous job of not only capturing it, but elaborating on all the things we wondered about. 

This last episode, for instance--you get to see SO MUCH of the Moon Palace as it was meant to be...you have a deeper understanding of how Queen Serenity was...and LUNA! Geeze, there is so much about Luna and HER past with the Queen, with the Princess, that just makes her role in the story that much more intense!

Anyway, I just really need someone to talk to about it, because my usual go-to people either aren't able to watch it regularly, or haven't even had a chance to START...or are sleeping right now...wait...she's probably getting up for work. I MIGHT have to text her. Though, really, I should be sleeping.

It's interesting, but I feel they really dropped the ball with animation quality, especially once you go and look at the blu-ray release differences. It's like they redrew the entire thing again for the blu-ray.

Yeah it almost looks like a completely different show...and it's made even worse with the bi-weekly releases.

Sorry for technically double-post, but after watching ep 15 (got a pretty LQ file of it) but it looks like the show animation is improving somewhat, hell the CG on Wiseman looked a HELL OF A LOT better than Metallia which was essentially a big black blob...at least his cloak looks like it has some textures to it.
